Ein sehr, sehr merkwürdiger Fehler, aufgetreten unter Windows Server 2003 sowie Windows Server 2000.

Nach dem Systemstart vermeldet der Symantec LiveUpdate Service, daß er nicht gestartet werden kann:

Ich habe sehr,sehr lange gesucht, und die Lösung gefunden. Der Fehler liegt in einer veralteten Powerchutesoftware.
Diese basiert auf Java. In allen Versionen kleiner der neuen Version 7 ist das Zertifikat abgelaufen, weshalb die Software dringend auf die Version 7 gebracht werden sollte.

Die neue Version der Software kann auf folgender Seite heruntergeladen werden:
